I am a huge fan of Laura Ashely, they appeal to everything I love about homeware. Their candles and room sprays are divine, not to mention the fact their bed covers make my room look incredibly cosy. I've never been overly excited about their clothing range as they don't pop up on my radar when I consider my next clothing purchase, however I have been excited about their expansion into menswear.
They've so far launched a collection of 14 shirts - all of which I really like. The designers are the perfect halfway point between M&S and Ralph Lauren. The shirts are gorgeous, but the price tag won't make you cry.
Laura Ashley Double Collar Shirts £70
I think it's a really good move for the company and the best way to hit to market with a reasonably sized collection of shirts; it's simple yet it'll be effective. I hope they do expand the collection and move into other aspects of menswear as I think it'll be a big success. Women go to them to buy a nice dress, or a comfy jumper, some candles and oh, look here, men's shirts, I know my husbands size, how perfect... bingo!
