Once a month when I see the Vogue package drop through the door, I stand there chanting: ‘please don’t be Kate, please don’t be Kate, PLEASE(!!!) don’t be bloody Kate’. Kate always seems like an easy option because she’s a recognizable face, suits the Vogue brand and well, she does the job like no other. Then again, it’s predictable and sometimes it’s nice to see someone other than Moss on the cover or as the face of an ad campaign of a brand you love.
However I had an eerie change of heart upon seeing that my beloved Rag and Bone had landed Kate for their most recent ad campaign; I didn’t want to cry – great, right? The below pictures say it all…
SUCCESS! Yeah, I want to be in leather shorts leaning against a wall in Kentish Town freezing my nips off looking bad ass.
SUCCESS! Yeah, I want to be crossing the road, laughing playfully at a fellow friend whose already crossed the road, but isn’t worthy of the picture because I’m in my fur gilet.
For once I’m wishing there were more pictures of Kate *checks own temperature* she’s nailed it, the brand nailed it and I love it. Kate in London wearing Rag and Born is to die for and it has made me love the brand even more.
